Hen Party Games

So you're organising a hen party for your best friend, where do you start? It has to be all about her, but she just wants everyone to have a great time! The Bride-to-be will have a few ideas, even if the details are the best kept secret in Cumbria!

With so many different types of Hen Party to arrange; a guest list, ideal dates and idea of venue are a good starting point. Once you have these, it's a good idea to do some research before sharing your ideas with your fellow Hens. The cost of attending a wedding and hen party is a consideration, but there are lots of ways to arrange a fabulous event without breaking the bank.

A Hen Party in Cumbria can be a popular choice, with beautiful venues, accommodation and scenery. There are lots of activity options to choose from, some of which can even be brought to your place! Why spend the weekend travelling when you can book a large house (with or without a hot tub), share a few glasses of prosecco and have a great weekend with the girls.

If you select a large group accommodation with a garden or field, then you will have an opportunity to have an activity like Archery or The Treasure Chest literally on your doorstep. There's no worry about getting everyone organised and on the road on time, as you can simply roll out of bed, grab a brew and head outside.

Feeling a little more adventurous? Outdoorsy Hen? There are quite a few places to stay near to our base at Talkin Adventures. We can fill your day, although the recipe for success is often not to try to do too much.

Our top picks for most Hen Parties are Raft Building and The Treasure Chest. There's something for everyone with this combination and if some of the group don't fancy going on the water then they can help build the raft and enjoy a cappuccino on the balcony whilst watching the group take to the water!
